Eng. Saad Al Muhannadi, Vice President of Capital Projects and Facilities Management

Engineer Saad Al Muhannadi is the Vice President for Capital Projects and Facilities Management and during the last 15 years, he has led the development of the required Qatar Foundation’s infrastructure to achieve Qatar’s goal of transforming itself from a carbon-based to a knowledge-based economy. Engineer Saad Al Muhannadi is responsible for planning, design, construction and maintenance of all Qatar Foundation buildings and supporting infrastructure in Education City’s 15 Million square meter campus as well as ensuring a healthy and safe living and working environment.

Eng. Al Muhannadi and his team play a crucial role in developing the infrastructure not only for QF’s Education City but also for other related projects such as Al Shaqab, the region's premier equine education resource centre, Qatar Science and Technology Park and Qatar Leadership Academy. The department is responsible for ensuring that each project is completed to the highest standards, both architecturally and environmentally.

Holding a B.Arch. from the University of Miami, Florida in USA, Eng. Al Muhannadi started his career with the Ministry of Municipality and Agriculture as Head of Design Development, then to an Assistant Manager of the Landmark West Bay development and finally he became the Chief of the Planning Unit. After that, Eng. Al Muhannadi became one of the founding members of QF when he joined the Foundation in 1995 as Project Manager for Capital Projects before being promoted to Assistant Director, Director and then, in 2005, to his current role as Vice President of Capital Projects and Facilities Management.

Engineer Saad Al Muhannadi is also a founding member of the Board of Directors at Msheireb Properties, and on the subsidiary Companies at QF.
