Joint Ventures

To support Qatar’s transition to a sustainable, knowledge-based economy, Qatar Foundation (QF) has established commercial ventures with a number of global partners. 

These strategically identified partnerships address the need for certain specialized skills that have been identified within Qatar’s economy. While QF can procure services from outside the region to meet short-term needs, the future lies in building local expertise so that Qatar can be self-sufficient.

These corporate joint ventures ensure QF’s future viability by helping it become self-sustaining. Generated profits are shared by both parties, with QF’s share being used to support core, not-for-profit activities.
